Missions

   At Zion's we take seriously Jesus mandate to love God and love others.  Out of our love of God we can do nothing else than care for all of God's children in this world. 

   We have a Food Pantry to help those in our area who are in need.  We provide meals at Kennedy House in Reading.  In 2011 a group will be traveling to Ghana, West Africa, to immerse ourselves in the Ghanian culture and to help build churches, schools, and clinics.

   Through the United Church of Christ special offerings such as "One Great Hour of Sharing" and Neighbors In Need" we provide funding for many who are in need in our nation. 

   Jesus said, "Truly I tell you , just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me."  Come and join us in our mission ministry.
