Revitalization

Zion's is in the third year of the Revitalization Program sponsored by the Pennsylvania Southeast Conference of the United Church of Christ. 

Through this program we are renewing our vision and mission; developing passion and skill in sharing the Good News of Jesus  Christ in our community through word of mouth, good advertising and marketing; receiving newcomers with an extravagant welcome; inspiring believers through hope-filled worship; becoming equipped to pass on the faith through a core discipleship process, becoming involved in our community through actions which promote the justice of God; providing a safe place for diverse people and points of view; and we are beginning to look at our congregation's organization and governance.

Our "40 Days of Prayer" E-Vent held in the fall of 2010 was an amazing event.  Lives were changed, relationships were forged, and we were able to take a hard look at our church.  During these 40 days we suspended all church business and activities and just gathered in small groups to pray.
